About

My name is Yingqian Wang (Belinda). I have finished my postgraduate course at Nottingham Trent University in 2018, with a distinction degree in MA Textile Design Innovation. During the course, my homeware design project “East Meets West” was selected to be showcased at New Designers 2018 in London and has won the Designer of the Year – Runner-Up Award among over 5000 candidates. Before that, I attained a 2:1 Hons degree at Birmingham City University in BA Textile Design. During my undergraduate course, my work was selected to be showcased at January Furniture Show 2017 in Birmingham. In addition, I also took design internship at Custhom, a homeware design studio in London.
